Design of an energy management system applied to an electric power plant based on a biomass gasifier

Abstract

Biomass gasification plants for electricity generation are an environmentally friendly technology. One of their main problems is their poor responsiveness to load variations when the plant operates off-grid. For this reason, they are usually grid-connected systems.
