Digital-intelligent transformation, financing constraints, and the high-quality development of tourism enterprises

Abstract

Using Chinese listed tourism companies from 2013 to 2023 as the sample, this paper examines the relationship among digital-intelligent transformation, financing constraints, and the high-quality development of tourism enterprises (HQDTE). The study finds that digital-intelligent transformation significantly promotes HQDTE, while financing constraints clearly impede HQDTE. Mechanism tests indicate that digital-intelligent transformation can promote HQDTE by alleviating financing constraints. Heterogeneity analysis shows that the impact of digital-intelligent transformation on HQDTE varies across the eastern, central, and western regions.
