Abstract

Based on panel data from 31 provincial-level administrative regions from 2010 to 2023, this study empirically examines the effects of digital finance penetration and new media-driven development on enhancing industrial chain resilience using a fixed effects model. The results indicate that digital finance penetration significantly improves regional industrial chain resilience, exhibiting heterogeneity across different regions; new media-driven development likewise significantly enhances industrial chain resilience, also displaying regional heterogeneity; furthermore, digital finance penetration serves as a mediating factor in the relationship between new media-driven development and industrial chain resilience.
