Abstract

The exhaust gas from underground diesel vehicles poses a serious threat to the health and safety of underground personnel. The use of perovskite catalysts for the treatment of diesel exhaust gas is an effective method to mitigate underground vehicle exhaust pollution. However, the purification performance of existing exhaust gas catalysts still has certain limitations. In this paper, a La0.8Ce0.2Co1-yMnyO3 perovskite catalyst for the treatment of diesel exhaust gas was taken as the research object. First, the optimal Mn substitution amount (y) was analyzed and determined, and the microstructure was predicted and optimized using Materials Studio software. Then, the effect of doping with Enteromorpha on the purification performance of the catalyst was studied. The results showed that the purification performance of the La0.8Ce0.2Co1-yMnyO3 perovskite catalyst was best when y = 0.6. After doping with Enteromorpha, Fe ions in Enteromorpha were successfully doped into the perovskite crystal structure, resulting in a significant increase in the specific surface area and porosity of the catalyst. The oxidation of PM and the reduction of NOx improved significantly, and the thermal stability was enhanced, which indicated that Enteromorpha doping was conducive to the improvement of the purification capability of the catalyst.
