Abstract

The objective of this study is to analyze the contribution of private SMEs to job creation and value added, using econometric methods such as linear regression. The results of the study can help identify the factors that influence this contribution and determine how public policies can support the role of SMEs in job creation and value added. The article concludes that the value added index of these SMEs is positively related to their number and the number of jobs. As a result, each increase in the index of private SMEs or the job creation index can generate an increase of 1.1 units in the value added index.
