Measuring performance of countries to face COVID-19 threat and the role of low population and high level of healthcare expenditure to mitigate negative effects

Abstract

This study evaluates how countries with lower population density and higher healthcare spending performed in mitigating the effects of COVID-19. It uses comparative indicators to assess national responses and outcomes.
