Reduzieren linke Landesregierungen die Ungleichheit bei der Beamtenbesoldung?

Abstract

Seit der Föderalismusreform 2006 obliegt es den Ländern, die Besoldung ihrer Beamten zu regeln. Dieser Beitrag untersucht, ob linke Landesregierungen die Gelegenheit genutzt haben, die Ungleichheit bei der Besoldung ihrer Beamten zu reduzieren. Die Ergebnisse zeigen nicht, dass linke Regierungen die Ungleichheit stärker reduzierten als rechte Regierungen oder Regierungen der Mitte.
