Fach- und Führungskräftemangel: Gehen in Deutschland die Talente aus?

Abstract

Das Thema »Fach- und Führungskräftemangel« ist aktuell eines der am intensivsten diskutierten Themen der wirtschaftspolitischen und personalwirtschaftlichen Debatte. Der unvermeidlich unsicheren Datenlage steht eine überraschend klare Positionierung aller Interessengruppen – Arbeitgeberverbände, Gewerkschaften, Politik, Wissenschaft – gegenüber: Im Zuge der demographischen Entwicklung steht der Mangel bevor, lediglich das genaue Ausmaß und die Zeitpunkte des Auftretens eines bestimmten Niveaus sind fraglich. Folgende Punkte werden im Anschluss knapp aufgegriffen: (1) Was ist unter Fach- und Führungskräftemangel zu verstehen? Wie sieht die gegenwärtige Situation aus? Auf welche Datengrundlage stützen sich die aktuellen Erkenntnisse? (2) Wie wird sich die Situation zukünftig darstellen? Welche Trends lassen sich beobachten? (3) Wie reagieren Unternehmen auf die Trends? Lassen sich bereits heute gezielte Maßnahmen und Strategien zur Bekämpfung eines (zukünftigen) Mangels beobachten?
