Kurz zum Klima: Globaler Stand der Erneuerbaren Energien

Zur Verminderung der weltweiten CO2-Emissionen stehen verschiedene kohlenstofffreie Technologien, wie Kernenergie, Carbon Capture and Sequestration (CCS), Kernfusion und die Erneuerbaren Energien, zur Verfügung. In welchem Verhältnis diese Technologien eingesetzt werden sollen und können, um eine zuverlässige Energieversorgung sicherzustellen, ist Gegenstand der aktuellen Forschung und des politischen Diskurses. Dieser Beitrag erfasst skizzenhaft den Status quo der Erneuerbaren Energieerzeugung.
