Abstract

Being subjected to the regulation of the E.C. policy, multinational companies can see their price, commercial and external growth policy questioned, as soon as they are found guilty of « dominant position » on one or several markets. The methodology adopted by the competition authorities to make such a diagnosis leads the companies of the agri-foodstuffs sector to be all the more vulnerable to the 86 article of the Treaty of Rome and to the regulations of the E.C. policy about concentration.
