Determinantes de la demanda de educación universitaria en Colombia, 1980-2010

Abstract

Este artículo analiza los principales factores microeconométricos correlacionados con la demanda de educación universitaria en Colombia con datos de las encuestas de hogares del DANE, mediante la estimación robusta de modelos de elección discreta. Entre los resultados más relevantes destaca la importancia del género, el nivel educativo y la situación de los padres en el mercado laboral, la composición familiar y el ingreso.
