A csatlakozás hatása a mezőgazdasági termékek ágazaton belüli kereskedelmére Magyarország és az Európai Unió között
[The effect of accession on intra-sectoral trade in agricultural products between Hungary and the European Union]

Abstract

Ebben a cikkben a legújabb szakirodalmi ajánlások alapján elemezzük, hogy milyen hatással volt a 2004. évi EU-csatlakozás Magyarország és az EU-15 országai közötti agrárkereskedelemre, a kereskedelem szerkezetének változására, különös tekintettel az ágazaton belüli kereskedelem alakulására. Eredményeink szerint a csatlakozás után az agrárkereskedelem egyre nagyobb része bonyolódik az Európai Unióval, noha a forgalom növekményének egyre kisebb részét értékesítik ezeken a piacokon. Az agrárkereskedelem a csatlakozás után is döntően ágazatok között zajlik, ám egyre inkább ágazaton belülivé válik. Kutatásunk megerősíti az ágazaton belüli kereskedelem foka és szintje közötti különbség fontosságát, ám meglepő módon arra a következtetésre jutottunk, hogy létezik olyan eset, amikor a Grubel-Lloyd-index és a vertikális kereskedelem között erős kapcsolat áll fenn. A teljes ágazaton belüli kereskedelem csatlakozást követő nagyarányú változása döntően a vertikális ágazaton belüli kereskedelem változásának volt köszönhető. Gazdaságpolitikai szempontból az eredmények világossá teszik, hogy az Európai Unióval folytatott magyar agrárexport versenyképessége egyértelműen romlott a csatlakozás után.
