Variables monetarias y formación de burbujas especulativas: un análisis de sincronización de frecuencias (1992-2013)

Abstract

En la actualidad existe una tendencia creciente en el estudio de fenómenos de naturaleza económica y financiera desde enfoque no lineal. En este sentido, el presente trabajo pretende examinar la existencia de una relación entre la instrumentación de la política monetaria y la formación de burbujas especulativas con un modelo no lineal. Para ello se propone estudiar la relación entre estos sistemas como caóticos para poder determinar su sincronización de frecuencia. Los resultados muestran fuerte evidencia empírica de sincronización completa y sincronización de retardo entre los sistemas examinados./ At present, there is an increasing tendency in studying phenomena of economic and financial nature from nonlinear approaches. In this sense, the present research tries to examine the existence of a relation between the instrumentation of monetary policy and the formation of speculative bubbles. To do that, we propose to study the relationship between these systems as chaotic to be able to determine the phase synchronization. The results show strong evidence of complete synchronization and delay synchronization between the examined sistems.
