Kritische Analyse der Einflussfaktoren auf die Supply Chain Resilience am Beispiel eines deutschen Automotive OEMs

Abstract

Aufgrund der fortschreitenden Globalisierung und der hohen Innovationsgeschwindigkeit werden Supply Chains länger und komplexer. Unternehmen sind zunehmend Unterbrechungen der Lieferkette ausgesetzt, die schwere Schäden und finanzielle Verluste verursachen. Die Supply Chain Resilience (SCR) wird daher immer wichtiger und Supply Chain Manager müssen Wege finden, um die Widerstandsfähigkeit ihrer Lieferkette zu stärken. Gegenstand der vorliegenden Arbeit war es daher, die Unternehmen bei der Verbesserung ihrer SCR zu unterstützen. Im Fokus der Studie stand dabei die kritische Analyse der Einflussfaktoren, die sich auf die Resilienz der Lieferkette auswirken. Ein deutscher OEM wurde aufgrund der komplexen Lieferkettenstruktur und Lieferantenbeziehungen als Untersuchungsgegenstand ausgewählt. Das zentrale Ziel der vorliegenden Arbeit war es, ein SCR-Modell zu entwickeln, das es Unternehmen ermöglicht, ihre SCR zu messen und zu verbessern. Hierfür sollte zuerst analysiert werden, welche Faktoren einen allgemeinen Einfluss auf die SCR haben. Darauf basierend wurden spezifische Einflussfaktoren identifiziert, die das Unternehmen zur Erhöhung seiner SCR heranziehen kann. Anschließend galt es herauszufinden, wie die SCR mit Hilfe von Faktoren gemessen werden kann, um auf der Basis eines SCR-Scores konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen abzuleiten. Um die oben beschriebenen Forschungsfragen zu beantworten, wurde der aktuelle Stand der Forschung ausgewertet und eine qualitative Studie durchgeführt. Als Forschungsmethodik diente eine zweistufige Delphi-Studie. In zwei Befragungsrunden wurden siebzehn Interviews mit Experten des OEMs geführt. Im Rahmen der Studie konnten acht Schwachstellen- und 14 Fähigkeitsfaktoren identifiziert werden, welche auf die SCR wirken. Konkrete Handlungsempfehlungen, um die SCR zu verbessern, können der Subfaktorenliste der entsprechenden Kategorie, z.B. Transparenz, entnommen werden. Das SCR-Modell dient somit als Leitfaden für Unternehmen, um die SCR bestmöglich auf bevorstehende disruptive Ereignisse vorzubereiten. Supply Chain Manager können damit den aktuellen Stand der SCR messen, kritische Fähigkeiten identifizieren und entsprechende Prioritäten setzen, um Lücken in der SCR zu schließen.
