Mittelfristprojektion für Deutschland im Frühjahr 2015 - Deutschland mittelfristig in der Hochkonjunktur

Abstract

Das Bruttoinlandsprodukt wird bis zum Jahr 2019 kräftig zulegen. Maßgeblich hierfür ist eine aus deutscher Sicht extrem expansive Geldpolitik. Gleichzeitig wird das Produktionspotenzial mit durchschnittlich 1,2 Prozent kaum stärker wachsen als in den vergangenen Jahren. Zwar stützen der wieder etwas kräftigere Kapitalstockaufbau und ein beschleunigter Produktivitätsanstieg das Wachstum der Produktionsmöglichkeiten, demgegenüber fallen die zuletzt vom Arbeitsmarkt ausgehenden Wachstumskräfte zusehends schwächer aus. Ausgehend von mehr oder weniger normal ausgelasteten Produktionskapazitäten dürfte die Produktionslücke auf ein Niveau steigen, wie es zuletzt zu Zeiten des Wiedervereinigungsbooms verzeichnet worden war. Durch die sich abzeichnende Überauslastung der Kapazitäten erhöht sich das Rückschlagpotenzial für die deutsche Wirtschaft. Die Wirtschaftspolitik steht somit in den kommenden Jahren vor erheblichen Herausforderungen.
