Mitbestimmung als notwendige Bedingung für Integration

Abstract

2015 flüchteten 1,1 Millionen Menschen nach Deutschland. Trotz dieser massiven Herausforderung kann Deutschland eine erfolgreiche Einwanderungsgesellschaft werden, wenn es gelingt, die Menschen über Arbeit zu integrieren. Der Weg in Arbeit ist für Flüchtlinge allerdings voraussetzungsvoll und langwierig. Dieser Report stellt dar, inwiefern die Mitbestimmung als gelebte Demokratie im Betrieb sowie die betriebliche Bildung, die traditionell in Deutschland auch für gesellschaftspolitische Verantwortung von Unternehmen steht, eine besonders hohe integrative Kraft haben. Diese wichtigen Faktoren müssen bei der gesamtgesellschaftlichen Diskussion in besonderer Weise berücksichtigt und durch die Politik in ihren Ressourcen gestärkt werden.
