Empresarialização: a lógica da gestão como modelo de organização da sociedade

Abstract

Fruto da hegemonia da esfera económica e do poder simbólico da actividade empresarial na contemporaneidade, decorre o fenómeno da empresarialização, com a sociedade a pensar-se cada vez mais como uma empresa e com diversas funções sociais a resvalarem para a tutela privada, sob os desígnios teóricos da gestão e das suas ferramentas. Este texto reflecte sociologicamente sobre as características da gestão, como disciplina, e da reengenharia, como exemplo de uma ferramenta da gestão, tendo em vista expor os limites da racionalidade que ambas expressam nas acções que empreendem.
