La vinculación entre la Universidad Nacional de Mar del Plata y la industria naval pesada del Partido de General Pueyrredon

Abstract

El objetivo de este capítulo es indagar sobre las características de las actividades de vinculación que existen entre la UNMDP y la industria naval del PGP, y comprender qué tipo de factores facilitan u obstaculizan su generación. Para ello, se utiliza información primaria consistente en la realización de 12 entrevistas en profundidad a informantes clave, incluyendo tanto actores del sistema productivo -empresas navales- como actores de la UNMDP -investigadores y autoridades-. Se utiliza además información secundaria extraída de las páginas web oficiales de la UNMDP y de sus distintas facultades e institutos. Los principales resultados reflejan que las capacidades científico-tecnológicas de la universidad son elevadas y más que suficientes para atender las necesidades actuales del sector naval. No obstante, las demandas se sitúan en un nivel de complejidad tecnológica por debajo de las capacidades científicas de la institución. Por tal motivo, las vinculaciones entre ambas partes distan de ser ideales y enfrentan algunas limitaciones.
