Quality Rating and Improvement Systems: Secondary Data Analyses of Psychometric Properties of Scale Development

Abstract

This working paper summarizes an analysis that uses data from six large ECE data sets to simulate state quality rating and improvement system (QRIS) ratings. The purpose is to demonstrate how using the principles of scale development can support development of QRIS ratings.
