Abstract

Les politiques RH ne se résument plus à des actions sporadiques en quête de performances individuelles et d'avantages concurrentiels. Elles font aujourd'hui partie intégrante des stratégies des entreprises, que ce soit en termes de production, de positionnement ou encore de culture. Pourtant, à une époque où l'intelligence artificielle séduit les scientifiques comme les politiques, l'intelligence naturelle n'est toujours pas mesurée dans les entreprises. Aussi, quid de la place des Hauts Quotients Intellectuels (HQI) dans les firmes ? En France, seuls les enfants sont pris en compte ; l'adulte HQI ne bénéficie pas des mêmes soutiens. Cela est peut-être dû au fait que pour qualifier une personne HQI, les professionnels utilisent alternativement les termes de hauts potentiels (HP) ou de talents, sans raison objectivement justifiée. Dans le cadre d'une recherche sur la détection puis l'intégration et l'accompagnement des HQI dans les organisations, cet article ancre donc les bases sémantiques nécessaires à la poursuite de nos investigations en questionnant la littérature sur les acceptions et perceptions managériales des trois concepts de Talents, HP et HQI. Il met notamment en exergue les convergences et les divergences sémantiques qui permettent, in fine, de clairement définir ce que nous devrions entendre par individu talentueux, collaborateur à haut potentiel et personne HQI.
