Abstract

olarisation et un accroissement de son coût de fonctionnement alors que, simultanément, les disparités départementales diminuent fortement. L’objectif de cet article est de déterminer le véritable rôle des lois Ferry qui n’interviennent qu’après ce développement massif de la scolarisation : sont elles l’amorce ou simplement l’institutionnalisation de la scolarisation française ?
