A társas támogatás szerepe és jelentõsége a felsõoktatásban a diákszervezeti tagság kapcsán

Abstract

A társas támogatás nem más, mint mások segítõ, vagy annak szánt megnyilvánulásai. Számtalan személyközi viselkedési mintázatot foglal magába, melyek a támogatott egyén pszichés állapotát és viselkedési outputjait hivatottak gazdagítani. A társas támogatás - a fogadó szempontjából - szükségszerû eleme a jól-létnek nem csupán szubjektív észlelési szinten, de szomatikus szinten is. Bizonyítottan csökkenti a stresszfaktorok egyénre gyakorolt hatását és egészségesebb coping-mechanizmusok kialakítását teszi lehetõvé. Azok az emberek, akiknek széles a támogatói köre, gyakrabban rendelkeznek pozitív önképpel, többször képesek pozitívan hozzáállni a felmerült problémákhoz és könnyebben feledkeznek meg a mindennapi nehézségekkel együtt járó negatív érzelmeikrõl is. A társas támogatásnak szerves részét képezik azonban a hatalmi és információs kapcsolatok és viszonyok. Az, akinek széles és stabil támogatói köre van, könnyebben jut hozzá fontos információkhoz, és könnyebben tudja érdekeit/akaratát érvényesíteni. Jelen tanulmány az Óbudai Egyetem hallgatóinak társas kapcsolataink azon metszetét vizsgálja, amelybe a diákcsoportokban, - különösen szakkollégiumban való tagság, - tartozik. Igyekszik a diákcsoport-tagság miatt szélesebb társas körrel rendelkezõk jellemzõit és mozgatórugóit bemutatni,.
