Abstract

Etablierte Unternehmen haben, was Startups dringend brauchen: Wissen, Marktzugänge, Kapital. Und Startup sind, was etablierte Unternehmen gerne wären: innovativ, flexibel, schnell. Welche Rolle Startups in der Ökonomie der Zukunft spielen, hängt daher wesentlich davon ab, ob und wie etablierte Unternehmen und Startups zusammenarbeiten (können). Die vorliegende Studie liefert eine konzeptionelle Verortung von Startups im Kontext gegenwärtiger Transformationstrends ebenso wie eine differenzierte empirische Analyse: Sie zeigt entlang verschiedener Kooperationsformen die Erwartungen von etablierten Unternehmen und Startups, welche Herausforderungen die Zusammenarbeit mit sich bringt und wie diese in der Praxis bearbeitet werden.
