Abstract

Die vorliegende Studie behandelt die Investitionen in die erneuerbare Energieerzeugung, die von der Wien Energie GmbH in der Steiermark im Zeitraum von 2018 bis 2035 getätigt worden bzw. geplant sind. Das Gesamtvolumen dieser Investitionen beläuft sich dabei auf rund 750 Mio. €, wodurch eine Erzeugungskapazität von 530 Megawatt bereitgestellt wird. Einerseits werden die mit den Investitionen und Betriebsausgaben verbundene Wertschöpfung und Beschäftigung abgeschätzt, andererseits werden Aspekte der Versorgungssicherheit und der Standortattraktivität diskutiert sowie die potenziellen Auswirkungen auf die Energiehandelsbilanz durch die Importsubstitution fossiler Energieträger quantifiziert.
