Abstract

E-mail: sgundsam@fulbrightmail. orgИнтернационализация стала стимулом для реформирования системы высшего образования в Монголии. Правительство страны видит в интернационализации путь к повышению качества высшего образования и получению национальными вузами достойных позиций в рейтингах высших учебных заведений Азии. В соответствии с этой государственной политикой поставщики образования стремятся наладить международное сотрудничество, обеспечить академическую мобильность студентов, совершенствовать преподавательский состав вузов. Цель статьи - проанализировать процесс реформ в высшем образовании Монголии, а также национальные и институциональные практики и инициативы в интернационализации высшего образования. Рассматривается концепция преподавания академических дисциплин на английском языке в высших учебных заведениях Монголии как набирающее популярность явление интернационализации. В задачи статьи не входит оценка процессов интернационализации университетов и/или их стратегий.
