Augmenting Human Resource Management with Artificial Intelligence: From Sustainability to Neuroscience Insights

Abstract

In recent years, Artificial Intelligence (AI) has made a profound impact across various industries, and Human Resource Management (HRM) is no exception. As organizations strive to stay competitive and enhance employee experiences, integrating AI into HR practices offers innovative solutions for streamlining operations, improving decision-making, and boosting efficiency. Augmenting HRM with AI is reshaping how companies manage their workforce, from recruitment to employee development and performance management. One of the most significant contributions of AI in HRM is its ability to automate routine and administrative tasks. Traditional HR functions like resume screening, scheduling interviews, and handling basic inquiries can be time-consuming. AI-powered tools, such as applicant tracking systems and chatbots, help automate these processes, reducing the burden on HR professionals. Machine learning algorithms can rapidly analyze resumes and match candidates to job descriptions based on a variety of factors, including skills, experience, and cultural fit. This not only accelerates the hiring process but also ensures a more accurate, unbiased selection, minimizing human error and subjectivity.
