Abstract

[eng] The transfer theory : a disequilibrium approach . Jean-Claude Berthelemy. The conceptual framework of the transfer theory is unsatisfactory ; it inciudes two competing approaches — « classical » and « modem » — the analysis of which are partial : they examine respectively the impact of the transfer on relative prices or on incomes. This article shows how the theory can be unified by introducing concepts of disequitibrium analysis. Classical and modem resuit are obtained as special cases of the model ; moreover, mixt situations can be analysed, as ~we show how the transfer can influence macroeconomic behaviours, when traditional models settle them once for all.
