Technology Transfer at a Turning Point

Author

Abstract

The exploitation capacity of research products, in economic and commercial terms, is the distinctive property of those countries at the forefront of innovation as drivers of economic growth. If Italy wants to recover the historic delay on such subject, it must commit, with a collective effort by Universities, industries and innovative finance, to organize and manage technology transfer more effectively and efficiently. This paper focuses on the bases for carrying out this «turning point of the transfer», with particular reference to Southern Italy's environment.
