Le traiettorie di sviluppo della funzione di gestione operativa nelle aziende sanitarie italiane: evidenze dal caso Lombardo

Abstract

Il presente studio esamina la diffusione dell?Operations Management (OM) nelle aziende sanitarie attraverso tre prospettive: (i) il suo ruolo all?interno delle organizzazioni, (ii) gli strumenti utilizzati e (iii) le sfide all?implementazione. I dati sono stati raccolti mediante un questionario somministrato alle aziende sanitarie in Lombardia (popolazione target di 40 unit?, con tasso di risposta del 65%). I risultati evidenziano come le aziende sanitarie lombarde abbiano creato uffici specifici per l?OM, ma con variazioni nella composizione, obiettivi e responsabilit?. ? carente l?uso di strumenti basati sui dati, come Six Sigma e Intelligenza Artificiale. Infatti, una principale sfida ? la mancanza di dati affidabili per gestire i flussi di pazienti.
