L'evoluzione delle esportazioni nelle province italiane ad alta distrettualit? (2001-2011): quali fattori di eterogeneit??

Abstract

Il presente lavoro studia le performance di crescita delle esportazioni nelle province ad alta distrettualit?. In particolare, l?analisi tratta il tema della diversificazione. L?obiettivo ? verificare attraverso un test econometrico se le province che modificano la struttura produttiva iniziale e che sono pi? esposte ai mercati a elevata domanda esprimono tassi di crescita maggiori. I risultati sono in linea con le attese e attestano una maggiore attitudine al cambiamento per le province ad alta distrettualit? rispetto al resto del Paese. Nello specifico ? rilevante l?effetto della riduzione della specializzazione prevalente iniziale una volta controllate una serie di fattori. Tra questi, la dimensione impatta positivamente sulle esportazioni ma oltre una certa soglia, l?influenza diventa negativa mentre la dotazione di capitale umano e dei servizi non sembrano esercitare un ruolo chiaro ed evidente sull?evoluzione delle esportazioni. Infine, le province settentrionali manifestano prestazioni superiori rispetto alle altre realt? confermando l?esistenza di un?intrinseca maggiore dinamicit? per i sistemi distrettuali del Nord.
