Cadenas productivas y clusters en la economía regional de Nuevo León. Un análisis con matrices de insumo-producto

Abstract

El estado de Nuevo León ha alcanzado altos niveles de competitividad como resultado de la creciente interacción de sus actividades económicas, expresadas en tasas de crecimiento superiores a la economía nacional. Para demostrar el comportamiento reciente de su economía a través de las relaciones intersectoriales, se utilizan varios modelos del cálculo para obtener indicadores. En primer lugar se calculan los índices de Chenery y Watanabe para clasificar los sectores de actividad económica según su encadenamiento con datos de la matriz de insumo-producto regionalizada. Se calculan los índices de Rasmussen para detectar el poder y sensibilidad de dispersión intersectorial, y al final, con la metodología de Feser y Bergman, se identifican los principales clusters, apoyados en la política industrial y de organización empresarial que ha adquirido mucha fuerza en Nuevo León.
