Seeking health below the radar: Undocumented People's access to healthcare in two Dutch cities

Abstract

•Dutch law protects undocumented people's health rights, but not in practice.•Undocumented people avoid Dutch healthcare unless it is an emergency.•Fear-induced behaviour worsens the health status of undocumented people.•This study was done with PEER-trained researchers.
