Abstract

The drying industry is considered to be one of the most energy-intensive industries, and the energy consumption of the drying process accounts for 7%–15 % of the country's total energy consumption. Some drying processes require burning wood and coal and electric heating, which often leads to environmental pollution and high energy consumption, and it is especially important to use clean and reliable energy for drying. In this project, a model of cross seasonal solar coupled soil source heat pump(SCSSHP) drying system was established, which replaced electric heating to dry the lithium battery coating process, and the thermal performance of the system was studied by TRNSYS, and the heat storage efficiency and energy consumption of the system were analyzed. The results showed that the annual operation performance parameters of the system reached 3.9, and the soil temperature increased by 0.43 °C after 5 years of operation and 0.78 °C after 10 years. The annual heat storage of the system is 61717 GJ, the annual heat release is 6218 GJ, and the heat storage efficiency reaches 93 %. The total power consumption is 4298 GJ, which is 88 % less than 1 × 107 kWh compared to electric heating.
