How does the new asset management regulations promote enterprises' overseas development?

Abstract

This research uses the New Asset Management Regulations to examine enterprises' international development, filling a vacuum in the literature that has ignored domestic financial policies' impact on cross-border expansion plans. The study uses the data from 2015 to 2024 to confirm that the regulations significantly facilitate international expansion by improving enterprises' operational capabilities and forcing them to seek alternative financing overseas due to domestic funding constraints. Reallocating financial resources to productive areas boosts organizations' competitiveness and operational foundations for global expansion. International financial markets and growth potential are sought because of high domestic finance expenses. This study explains the relationship between financial regulation and corporate strategy, helping policymakers combine financial stability with sustainable international development and helping companies navigate regulatory changes through strategic resource allocation and risk management.
