Actitudes emprendedoras de estudiantes universitarios: caso de una institución de educación superior en Colombia

Abstract

El emprendimiento en Colombia se ha asociado como una actividad de riesgo, debido al perfil precavido de los habitantes en el país y el alto porcentaje de cierre de nuevos negocios. Esta situación ha generado que se prioricen otro tipo de inversiones, lo que desfavorece a su vez el sistema de creación de empresas. En este contexto, las instituciones de educación tienen la responsabilidad de ofrecer una formación que fomente el emprendimiento, por medio de programas que comprendan la realidad cultural y los deseos de los diferentes grupos de interés. Así, desde un enfoque cuantitativo y de diseno descriptivo, la metodología de la investigación abordó un estudio de caso centrado en la Corporación Unificada Nacional de Educación Superior (CUN). El objetivo fue caracterizar las actitudes emprendedoras de los estudiantes de esta Institución de Educación Superior para el periodo de agosto de 2021 a mayo de 2022, con el fin de aumentar el conocimiento y la inclinación de los alumnos frente al emprendimiento. Se encuentra que hay una aceptable predisposición hacia la creación de empresa por parte de los estudiantes, especialmente por el énfasis en el logro. Sin embargo, para su estímulo es recomendable trabajar en su baja flexibilidad y creatividad. ******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************* Entrepreneurship in Colombia has been associated as a risky activity, due to the cautious profile of the country's inhabitants and the high percentage of new business closures. This situation has led to prioritizing other types of investments, which in turn disadvantages the business creation system. In this context, educational institutions have the responsibility of offering training that promotes entrepreneurship, through programs that understand the cultural reality and the wishes of the different interest groups. Thus, from a quantitative and descriptive design approach, the research methodology addressed a case study focused on the Corporación Unificada Nacional de Educación Superior (CUN). The objective was to characterize the entrepreneurial attitudes of the students of this Higher Education Institution for the period from August 2021 to May 2022, in order to increase the knowledge and inclination of the students towards entrepreneurship. It is found that there is an acceptable predisposition towards the creation of a company by the students, especially due to the emphasis on achievement. However, for your encouragement it is advisable to work on your low flexibility and creativity.
