Pertinencia de la infraestructura de transporte para la competitividad del sector agrícola de la zodes Montes de María: Una aproximación

Abstract

Este artículo se centra en un análisis de la pertinencia de la infraestructura de transporte de la Zona de Desarrollo Económico y Social -ZODES- Montes de María (departamento de Bolívar, Colombia) desde sus capacidades productivas agrícolas, frente a los planes de desarrollo –nacional, departamental y municipales- y las visiones de competitividad del departamento de Bolívar y que impactan en la región. Los resultados del análisis arrojan que la precariedad de la infraestructura de transporte y el impacto que ésta genera en la movilidad se reflejan en el bajo desarrollo de las actividades económicas con potencial competitivo y, por ende, en el desarrollo integral tanto de la región como del departamento de Bolívar, lo que impide cumplir -al menos en el corto plazo-, con las visiones de competitividad planteadas.
