Innovación social como motor del desarrollo local y el emprendimiento social

Abstract

En este artículo se aborda la innovación social en el desarrollo local y el emprendimiento social desde una perspectiva teórico-práctica, tomando como referencia los nuevos yacimientos de empleo (NYE). Para ello, se parte de la sistematización de experiencias en tres municipios de la provincia de Almería, Espana, centradas en la mejora de vida de las personas (servicios a domicilio, cuidado de ninos y ayuda a jóvenes con dificultades de inserción). La implementación de estos centros ha repercutido positivamente en los municipios rurales en su lucha contra el envejecimiento y despoblamiento, y se ha logrado mantener e incluso incrementar la producción, la renta y el empleo.
