El impacto de los agentes intermediarios en el proceso de cooperación para innovar: el papel moderador del tamano de la empresa

Abstract

Los intermediarios han sido reconocidos como agentes clave para fomentar la articulación entre actores dentro de los sistemas de innovación. Este artículo evaluó empíricamente el efecto que ejercen diferentes tipos de intermediarios sobre el establecimiento de acuerdos de colaboración entre empresas y otros actores. Además, se analiza el efecto moderador del tamano empresarial. El análisis se realizó en una muestra de 2059 empresas, derivada de la Encuesta de Desarrollo e Innovación Tecnológica de Colombia. Los resultados de los análisis de regresión muestran que el relacionamiento de empresas con intermediarios influye positivamente sobre el establecimiento de acuerdos de cooperación. Así mismo, la importancia de los intermediarios varía en función del objetivo de cooperación perseguido y está moderada por el tamano empresarial.
