Steuerschätzung Mai 2011: Was bedeuten die Steuermehreinnahmen für die Schuldenregel des Bundes?

Der Arbeitskreis »Steuerschätzungen« hat auf seiner 138. Sitzung die Prognose für die Aufkommensentwicklung der Steuereinnahmen erneut nach oben korrigiert. Sowohl konjunkturell als auch strukturell verbessert sich damit die Finanzlage des Staates. Das Defizit des Bundes dürfte gegenüber den aktuellen Planungen deutlich niedriger ausfallen. Der Abbaupfad der neuen Schuldenregel bis 2016 dürfte somit eingehalten werden. Vorübergehend ergibt sich sogar haushälterischer Spielraum.
