Armut als Ordnungsfrage – Vom Wert des ordnungsökonomischen Denkens

Abstract

Die Armutsfrage wird heute bevorzugt als staatliches Verteilungs- und Lenkungsproblem, kaum noch als umfassende Ordnungsaufgabe mit dem Ziel der allgemeinen Wohlstandsmehrung aufgefasst, wie dies vor 70 Jahren mit einer erfolgreichen Währungs- und Wirtschaftsreform im Verständnis der Sozialen Marktwirtschaft geschah. Inzwischen sind die Grundsätze dieses Wirtschaftssystems weithin brach liegend. Was lernen wir davon und welche Perspektiven ergeben sich daraus – vor allem auch für Europa?
