This study is designed to determine the influence of stress and job satisfaction on the work engagement of criminology academicians. The study utilized the non-experimental-quantitative, and correlational research approaches. The actual number of respondents of the study is 140 criminology academicians from selected institution in Davao del sur, using stratified random sampling adhering to the desired inclusion criteria. Data were collected using standardized instrument via survey method. Mean, Pearson-r, and Multiple Regressions were the statistical tools used in analyzing and interpreting the data gathered. Based on the result of the study, the levels of job satisfaction and work engagement are high, while the level of stress is moderate. Also, the result showed that there is a positive significant correlation between stress and work engagement, while there is a strong positive significant correlation between job satisfaction and work engagement across all dimensions. The overall findings further disclosed that the independent variables (stress and job satisfaction) when combined can influence work engagement.
