Geografia finansowa – w poszukiwaniu przestrzennego wymiaru w finansach

Abstract

W obliczu narastającej złożoności rynków finansowych geografia finansowa nabiera znaczenia jako zyskująca na popularności subdyscyplina naukowa, oferująca nowe perspektywy w analizie przestrzennych procesów finansowych. Celem opracowania jest identyfikacja dotychczasowych oraz potencjalnych przyszłych kierunków badań w geografii finansowej, z naciskiem na jej potencjał badawczy i aplikacyjny. Wykorzystując przegląd literatury przedmiotu uzupełniony o analizę bibliometryczną na podstawie publikacji z bazy Scopus, zidentyfikowano główne obszary dotychczasowych badań w geografii finansowej, podkreślając jej znaczenie dla zrozumienia dynamiki rozwoju rynków finansowych. Zidentyfikowano również nowe potencjalne obszary badań dla geografii finansowej, koncentrując się na zrównoważonym rozwoju, zaawansowanych technologiach oraz narastających napięciach geopolitycznych. Wskazanie tych obszarów podkreśla nie tylko interdyscyplinarny charakter geografii finansowej, ale także jej zdolność do adaptacji i reagowania na globalne wyzwania.
