Abstract

Câmara Municipal do Porto, in collaboration with CEMPRE, is implementing an information system on the quality of life in Porto. Before the presentation of the model that we developed, we discuss the concept of quality of life and present some theoretical contributions relevant for the project. We also discuss the issue of quality of life in an urban context, and give some references about national and international studies on the subject.
