Un estudio de la productividad del sector comercial español

Abstract

En este estudio se plantea un analisis de la productividad del Sector Comercial en España, sector que tiene una gran importancia puesto que representa aproximadamente el 8% del VAB y en torno al 11% del empleo total nacional. En este sector el problema de la productividad es especialmente importante ya que es un sector intensivo en trabajo y no tiene el potencial de otros que son mas intensivos en capital para favorecerse de los cambios tecnologicos. Aqui analizaremos la productividad del Sector Comercial en nuestro pais a traves del analisis comparativo de distintos indicadores que se pueden utilizar para medir la misma, con datos relativos a las distintas Comunidades Autonomas. Posteriormente propondremos un modelo econometrico para analizar el impacto que los distintos factores del mercado tienen sobre la productividad, con el objeto de buscar las razones que llevan a este sector a unos determinado niveles de productividad.
