Berufliche Bildung lohnt sich! Argumente für eine offene Diskussion

Abstract

Durch sinkende Schulabgängerzahlen und ein verändertes Bildungsverhalten ist das berufliche Ausbildungssystem in Deutschland unter Druck gekommen - und das, obwohl es international als Königsweg zur Bekämpfung von Jugendarbeitslosigkeit wahrgenommen und wertgeschätzt wird. Der vorliegende Beitrag überprüft Vorurteile und Klischees über das in der deutschen Debatte oft verkannte duale System. Die Ergebnisse zeigen: berufliche Bildung bietet Absolventen gute Arbeitsmarktchancen und interessante Karriereperspektiven.
