Migrantische Aktive in der betrieblichen Mitbestimmung

Abstract

Unter gewerkschaftlich organisierten Beschäftigten der Metallbranche sind überdurchschnittlich viele Migrant:innen in der betrieblichen Mitbestimmung aktiv. Das Working Paper diskutiert die Ergebnisse einer fallvergleichenden qualitativen Studie, die sich mit den Motiven, Kontextbedingungen und Verläufen migrantischen Engagements in den Strukturen der Mitbestimmung befasst. Sie zeigt, inwiefern Muster der Rekrutierung und Nominierung sowohl mit lebensweltlichen und durch Migration geprägten Erfahrungen als auch mit den durch eine 'ethnische Segmentierung' des Arbeitsmarkts bedingten betrieblichen Dynamiken zusammenhängen.
