[Strategic management of farm]

Abstract

The goal of this paper is to adapt achievements of modern management and suggest approach for strategic management of farms in Bulgaria. Firstly, the content and elements of strategic management are presented. Next, questions associated with strategic planning, strategies implementation, and control and adaptation of strategies are worked out. A systematic approach is presented for analysis, assessment, and selection of values system, vision, mission, goals, factors, and strategies of farm and its functional areas. Broadly used in developed countries approaches of SWOT analysis, strategic orientation, and comparative economic analysis, all they are applied.
