Abstract

L'enquête Statistiques sur les revenus et les conditions de vie de l'Insee conduit à estimer que de l'ordre de 30 % des Français ont connu au moins un épisode de pauvreté monétaire de 2005 à 2019. Cette part est presque deux fois plus élevée que le taux de pauvreté observé chaque année pendant cette période (environ 14 %). Ces résultats invitent à penser la pauvreté dans le temps, pour d'une part distinguer les pauvretés chronique et transitoire, et d'autre part identifier les facteurs d'entrée et de sortie dans ce phénomène.
