Abstract

L'objectif de la présente étude est de cerner l'importance de la qualité des institutions en République Centrafricaine à travers son impact sur l'économie. Pour atteindre cet objectif, la démarche méthodologique utilisée est focalisée sur modélisation vectorielle économétrique VAR pour capter les interactions entre les variables liées à la politique structurelle, la gestion économique, la politique de lutte contre l'exclusion sociale et de promotion de l'équité et, la gestion et les institutions du secteur public. Les résultats montrent que lorsque des mesures sont prises pour améliorer la qualité des institutions et des politiques, elles produisent des effets positifs à la deuxième année sur le produit intérieur brut. Ces résultats montrent l'importance de l'application des mesures visant à renforcer la qualité des institutions et politiques en RCA. Les recommandations suivantes seraient pertinentes pour le développement économique et social de la RCA : (i) renforcer la gestion optimale des finances publiques précisément la gestion de la dette publique ; (ii) intensifier les reformes tout en mettant un accent sur les potentiels gains et le temps d'adaptation des acteurs aux nouvelles mesures ; et (iii) renforcer la charte des investissements afin de faciliter les investissements ainsi que leur qualité.
