Abstract

Economic intelligence is a process of environmental management by an economic or political actor in order to improve its strategies according to the information made available to it. Information is a key element of the power of States and economic competition and its collection constitutes a production of wealth. It is essential for improving a country's economic and military security, by having the information necessary for a response in the event of actions contrary or opposed to national interests. Under these conditions, the economic protection of national strategic information is essential and constant monitoring must be put in place to face the threats and domination effects of a globalized world.
